Ben founded Regen Media in 2012. Having spent 15 years working in TV and radio, he left, realising that new media was coming of age and few people in the environmental space were taking advantage. With a love of buildings and development, in 2014 Ben made the decision to focus Regen Media entirely on the construction industry. This ties in with his website and podcast ‘House Planning Help’, dedicated to understanding more about how we create energy-efficient homes. When not working, Ben loves to cook.

Lucy is our production manager. She helps with the day to day running of Regen Media and also works on the House Planning Help brand. Lucy is responsible for everything from general enquiries and scheduling to booking podcast guests and creating show notes. Partner to an architect specialising in sustainable design, she is not afraid of construction jargon. Ask her how she balances all this with being a mum!
Strategic Partners

Mike is a retired ITV News cameraman. These days he only gets involved in projects that have an environmental focus, which is why we work with him a lot! Mike is also a successful self-builder who might genuinely have created one of the UK’s most sustainable houses. If you’re looking to start a conversation with Mike, ask him about his record label.

Lizzie had a successful career as a freelance subeditor in magazine publishing and like Mike, who is her partner of many years, she is passionate about the environment. Lizzie is our assistant producer and is instrumental in making shoots run smoothly as well as tweaking text. If you don’t know what an autonomous house is, you could ask, and also find out why their heating bills are so low.

Tim is a television editor who works on a variety of programming for broadcast. We knew we were onto a good thing when he said he’d always wanted to make documentaries on houses! He’s also done his fair share of renovation over the years and has recently completed a modern extension to his Victorian home. From his years in edit suites, Tim has plenty of stories to share about celebrities.

Steve had a long-running breakfast show before deciding he’d had enough of early mornings! These days he uses his many creative talents and extra sleep to produce creative content for various businesses; he helps us develop ideas and hone scripts. And while he may have left radio he is host of the Being Freelance podcast. If you ever need to talk him around, cake may be the clincher.
